Description

Lily Alwohaibi is a second year PhD student working in the IMPACT lab under Dr. Michael Curry. Originally from Saudi Arabia Lily received her B.S in chemistry from Princess Nora bint Abdulrahman University. She then came to the U.S and attended Tuskegee University where she received her masters, working with Dr. Michael Curry. After her masters, Lily went into industry and worked for multiple companies such as Thermo Fisher, Abbott and Eurofins PSS. Lily is currently studying membrane fabrication for semiconductor waste remediation. The membranes that she will discuss today will be made using biobased materials.
